Book Description:
T-FLAC operative Rafael Navarro will never allow another woman to suffer the consequences of his dangerous life. But in a world where a terrorist can do more damage with a keyboard than a bomb, he needs the expert help of a cyber-geek. And fast.
Fellow operative, and cybercrimes specialist Honey Winston prefers computers to people. But when a serial bomber threatens the world’s financial infrastructure, she’s forced to work closely with Navarro, whose notorious skill in the bedroom is as legendary as his dexterity defusing bombs.
Honey and Rafael must fight sparks hot enough to melt their resolve, and push beyond fear itself, as they join forces in a bid to race the clock before a sinister and lethal bomber proves just how much they both have to lose.
T-FLAC is back, and the timer is counting down in the most pulse-pounding explosive op yet—
My Thoughts:
This was a great read. Honey is known throughout TFLAC as the Ice Princess. She is a cybercrimes specialist which means she is the best on computers TFLAC has. Rafael is the 'bomb whisperer' and lives his life bold and somewhat reckless. When the two of them come together for an Op, sparks fly and the Ice Princess may just melt. Someone blowing up buildings and targeting them. Honey and Rafael must move fast to stop this, no matter how personal it gets.
I completely enjoyed these characters. Each one was unique and I just couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Honey is proud of being emotionless, or at least seeming emotionless. Rafael doesn't believe she really can be that way so he is determined to prove he can break down her walls. There was plenty of action, tension, suspense and chemistry. The story-line was smooth and kept you on your toes.
I rate this a 5/5. I really enjoyed it and am ready for more from Ms. Adair!
