Restoring Love by Jennifer Slattery

Restoring LoveBook Description:
Restoring Love, a contemporary novel, offers readers a beautiful picture of God's restoring love. Mitch, a restoration-contractor, and Angela, a wacky neighborhood transplant, find they are both compassionately drawn to helping an abandoned young neighborhood mom. But will their regrets hold them back or unite them and bring redemption?

My Thoughts:
Let me start with I LOVE this book cover!  The story within is so uplifting.  There are three people, Angela, Mitch and Bianca in this story.  When Angela moves to town, she and Mitch start a friendship, that may easily turn into more.  Bianca's life is difficult and she is struggling.  She is raising her kids and her husband, well he has issues.  Both Angela and Mitch feel God is leading them to help.
The characters here are completely realistic.  None of them are perfect, all of them have issues.  It is real life and I would completely believe these people are walking around today!  The author does a great job of tackling some tough subjects.  There is some romance, but it isn't the center of everything or the only love shown in this book.  I thought the 'brotherly love' portion was a great thing to see and it wasn't just from one source.  God's will and His love are shown multiple times though the story and it was great to see.  Overall, I think the author did a fabulous job with this book.
It was a 5/5 for me.  I loved everything about this.

Thank you to the author for the review copy of this book.  I received this book in exchange for an honest review and the opinions stated above are 100% mine.
