My Thoughts:
I loved this continuation of the Daath Chronicles.  After reading Broken Forest, this one just naturally follows a few months later.  Lucucino isn't dead as Avikar believes.  He is very much alive and in his home world.  There he plots and plans on how to get Jeslyn back.  I like how he is confused about his feelings for her and if he really can follow through with his plan.
Avikar and his friends have a different saga all together.  He and Raven are having to outrun Lucy and her spells.  I liked watching their relationship grow, and even if he was annoying to Avikar, I liked Cael.  He was a good guy, just in love with a girl he couldn't have. I enjoyed switching between storylines. It was great to follow each of them and see how different each of the stories are but happening at the same time!
It was a 4/5 for me.  I'm off to read the next book now :)
