Book Description:
In book eleven of her New York Times bestselling Elemental Assassin series, author Jennifer Estep continues “one of the best urban fantasy series going on the market” (Fresh Fiction).

My Thoughts:
I love this series! Gin is back and her new enemy is right there on the edges of everything. The new drug being pushed is being pushed a little too close to home for her peace of mind. Burn is terrible and addictive, and getting people killed all around. Gin steps in when an employee is being pushed but steps into more than she planned. Now she isn't just getting a sample for her sister or helping out an employee, she is facing down a major player who doesn't plan to lose.
I was so excited that the Spider was back. The story was good, and packed with plenty of action. I wasn't overly thrilled with how Bria was acting but then again, it was supposed to be a change in character for her. Fin was his ever-charming self and all the others were there to complete the circle. Added in is the new 'bad guy' that Gin is going to have to deal with. I liked the ending to this one that is somewhat bittersweet and a perfect setup for the next book.
This is a 5/5. If you haven't read the series up to this point, you will still enjoy the book, but if you've been following the series, it is a must read!
