My Thoughts:
I enjoyed this one.  Ben is the Sheriff in town since his father's incapacitation.  When his college sweetheart calls and asks him to help her brother, he didn't know the brother's dying request would be for Ben to take care of Leigh.  Leigh is devastated by her brother's death but also by the thought of Ben being around her and her son.  With the killer determined to find what he is looking for, some secrets from the past can't stay hidden.I really liked Ben.  He has issues from the past that he still blames himself for.  He loves his family, God and Leigh.  Leigh can't let what happened in the past keep her from doing what is best for her son.  His safety is most important to Leigh.  I really liked the secondary characters in the story.  Leigh's son, Ben's father,and the deputy all added depth to the story that made me enjoy it all the more.
This was a 4/5 for me.  I really enjoyed the whole story but the ending left me feeling a bit wrong. Thank you to the publisher for the review copy of this book.  I received this book in exchange for an honest review and the opinions stated above are 100% mine.
