Managing the Value Lodge in her hometown was not what Anna Gordon had in mind when she set out in the hospitality industry. But it's a safe choice for a woman whose childhood was anything but stable. Out of the blue, she gets a once-in-a-lifetime chance to reinvent herself by moving to New York City, where she hopes for a management position at a stylish new boutique hotel. The big city is full of surprises--not the least of which is Sean O'Neil. Her childhood crush has applied for the very same position!
I enjoyed this book. Anna has the opportunity to move to New York City from her small hometown for a job. She wants this life changing opportunity to be hers but she isn't the only one who has applied for the job. Sean O'Neil has as well and he is Anna's crush.I loved the tour through NY. I've not been there but I certainly felt like I was there. I liked Anna and Sean. The two of them had some good interaction. I wasn't a great big fan of Anna's best friend but she was true to character. The whole book was from Anna's POV and I really wanted to know what Sean was thinking at places! This really is a good, sweet summertime read.
I rate this a 4/5. It was a good, quick book.
