My Thoughts:

I love this shifter series.  The SWAT officers have become somewhat of an addiction for me to read about.  In this one, we focus on Max.  He has found Lana and she is 'the one'.  I liked how protective her father was, but at the same time, he was a bit over the top.  I felt so bad for Lana when the messes started because she was clueless!  Max found her because her scent drew him but the fact that she doesn't know she is a shifter or that they even exist makes a couple scenes comical.
The danger is there and the action.  Attraction, romance and much more!  You can see something is coming for the team.  There are just so many shifters in the area now and changes happening that no one anticipates.  I'm not sure what is going to happen next but I can't wait to find out!
It was a 4/5 for me.  I cannot wait for the next one!
