A Killer Among Us by Lynette Eason

Book Description:
Kit Kenyon is a first-rate hostage negotiator. Noah Lambert is a good detective with excellent instincts. The new partners have hardly had time to get used to each other when they are thrown into a grisly murder case. As evidence mounts up and more victims are found, Kit and Noah realize they are on the hunt for a serial killer. The problem is, he's hunting one of them too.

With nail-biting suspense, clever plot twists, and a hint of sweet romance, A Killer Among Us is the latest thriller from Lynette Eason. It will keep readers up late as they race to discover the killer--and whether Kit and Noah will live to tell about it.

My Thoughts:
I LOVED this book. Kit has a new partner, Noah, who has a bit of a problem with female cops but they have finally come to an understanding. Now if Kit could only get her emotions to come to an understanding that Noah is her partner and nothing more, she'd be doing good! They are the lead investigators on a murder case that suddenly becomes two and before they have time to breath, they are on the hunt for a serial killer. Their investigation makes them a target of the psycho's rage, but does he have something even more twisted in mind for Kit?
Wow...I liked all the characters in this book. It was a realistic fiction and wonderfully refreshing. There wasn't one scene in the whole book that I couldn't see happening in real life! Kit is stubborn, has family issues, and is hopelessly attracted to her new partner. She is also a wonderful negotiator. Noah is a Christian, good cop and can't help but feel the attraction to his non-Christian partner Kit. Great suspense, awesome characters and lots of twists make this an amazing book!
I rate this book a 5/5. It is a great book!
