My Thoughts:
Catherine Coulter's books are amazing! I love Savich and Sherlock. The two of them are some of my favorite characters. Their mystery here is figuring out who is trying to kill the older lady. There is one glaringly obvious suspect, except maybe things there aren't what they seem. Just when I thought I knew the answer, something changed. The lost heir was a nice little twist and I knew to watch out for him because this author never does obvious, except sometimes the obvious is exactly right.
The same is true of the other mystery going on. There is someone killing young female actresses. The facts don't add up and Detective Montoya and Agent Wittier are trying to piece it together but nothing adds up right. No one is quiet what they seem nor their stories as true as they appear. I had decided that I knew exactly what had happened and it was (in my mind) wrapped up in a package with a bow. Yeah, I was wrong. I cannot wait for more from this author!
Absolutely a 5/5. This series is wonderful and the author does a great job with these characters, they never get stale.
