My Thoughts:
I got into this book from the start. Ella has been kidnapped and is clueless as to why. Sam saw the kidnapping and is determined to save her. I loved that Ella didn't trust Sam at all to begin with. You couldn't blame her either. Who would trust a complete stranger who says they are there to help you right after you've been kidnapped. Sam was a great guy though. He had a job to do but saving Ella came first.
I was happy to have read the previous book about this team but it isn't necessary to follow this book. It stands on its own quite well. I'm hoping the author gives each of the team members their own story because you get to liking them through the series and want each to get their own happy ending. There is action, trust, betrayal, and love in this book. The author did a great job of keeping things interesting and me wanting to finish to see what happens next.
It was a 4/5 for me. Truly enjoying this series.
