The clock is ticking and Atlanta is about to catch fire. . . .

My Thoughts:
This book is a must read! It starts out by introducing Evalle, Quinn and Tzander and their interesting abilities. Evalle is a cross between a Belador and Alterant. She is a Belador and has sworn the oath to protect but she has never really been accepted by anyone in the tribe because she is a 'half breed'. A woman was taken by a demon and the tribe has no one to blame so they blame Evalle. She is in a race to keep her oath and protect humans and Belador alike while trying to save her own life!
I immediately was drawn to Evalle! She is just awesome. I thought it was cool when she shifted and suspense as she is being chased. I want a Feenix for myself :) I liked all the subplots and how they came together to form an inescapeable storyline! All the characters in the book are good looking and I had a great time mental picturing them. The book has some romance but it is mainly a mystery and the perfect beginning to a new series.
5/5! This was a great book and am ready for the next one to come out!
